CHURCH AND CLERGY ASSOCIATION OF KENYA (CCAK)

The Umbrella body for Church and Clergy
CCAK is non-political and is not a church, but an umbrella body. The core mandate of CCAK is to act as a watchdog of the Nation’s spiritual and moral welfare; contribute to peace and cohesion mission among the citizens; empower the clergy; speak for a united Church; and develop and implement guidelines for self-regulation. It was noted that there are over 300,000 pastors in Kenya, majority of who are not in registered churches and lack empowerment to execute their mandate. The government has not formally recognized the pastors and have no access to government funds, training facilities or other subsidies that would empower them.
CCAK is duly registered with the Registrar of Societies of the Republic of Kenya. The  Headquarters is located in Nairobi. The Association has 12 Regional Chapters. Each regional Chapter has County, Sub-County and Ward levels of administration.

Bishop Hudson Ndeda.

National Chairman,CCAK.

"Welcome message from The National Chairman, CCAK.
To God be all the Glory

Welcome to Church and Clergy Association of Kenya (CCAK) which is fully registered under Society laws as an umbrella body.

The Church and Clergy in Kenya have had many challenges including an existing moratorium on Church registration for more than 6 years; plans by government to introduce harsh regulations rather than allow self regulation like other bodies; disregarding the church and more so the Pentecostal churches in decision making that affect out nation; and the isolation of the church and clergy in developing protocols during Covid 19 pandemic among others.

CCAK is of the view that the church and the Clergy must become active agents of change and moulding the fabric of our nation morals and ethics. The church must take a leading role in advocating for justice and fairness as well as fight against corruption, tribalism, marginalization, nepotism and other vices bedeviling our beloved country

CCAK offers us a unique opportunity, all under one roof, our Churches and ourselves. We need to arise and shine for our time has come. Please register as a member and join the amazing family of clergy that wont complain further but stand to be counted.

Again welcome to CCAK.  We are uniting for a purpose.
Stay blessed.

"Welcome message from The Secretary General, CCAK.
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Peace be with you.

Feel warmly welcome to CCAK, a PLACE for YOU. CCAK is a product of prayer embodying the hopes and aspirations of thousands of Ministers of the Gospel in the Cities and in the Villages, and especially those leading smaller congregations.

The role the over 500,000 pastors in Kenya play in the life of the Kenyan nation in moulding the moral and spiritual order cannot be overemphasized.  CCAK is here to amplify the VOICE and HONOUR of the CLERGY. We shall stand united against that which is not right and stand United for that which is right.

The Umbrella Body shall have an 11-Member Executive Committee and 12 Regional Representatives. The 23 members form the CCAK Board and shall ratify the key decisions. In each region there shall be County and Sub County Leaders for Grass-root reach.  CCAK has structures and leadership necessary to execute its core mandate effectively.
